Acceptable use policy

This policy applies to everyone using Kennelworks or Handlr, including the community feed, messages and listings. Breaking it can lead to content being removed, or an account being suspended or closed.

Don’t use Kennelworks or Handlr to

• Break the law, including animal welfare, consumer protection, data protection and tax law.
• Advertise or sell puppies. Only trained dogs may be listed.
• Advertise or sell dogs illegally, including banned breeds or types, or dogs without the paperwork the law requires.
• Post content showing animal cruelty, or content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful or sexually explicit.
• Impersonate someone, or mislead people about who you are or the qualifications you hold.
• Post other people’s personal information, or photos of them, without their permission.
• Send spam or unsolicited messages, including to people who aren’t your clients or enquirers.
• Upload malware, or try to access accounts, data or systems you aren’t authorised to.
• Overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or get round plan limits.
• Store payment card numbers outside the payment forms we provide.

Reporting and blocking

Report a post, comment, listing or person from the menu next to it in Handlr, or through our contact form. Our staff review reports and may look at the content involved, including messages, to decide what to do. You can also block someone, which stops them seeing your posts or messaging you.
