Your dogs

Keep your dog's profile, health wallet, album and papers up to date, raise a lost-dog alert, and choose who sees them.

Open a dog from Home under Your dogs.

Profile and papers

Edit breed, microchip, vet details, photos, documents and titles. Choose Add a title or award for show, working or sport results.

Kennelworks badges

Badges at Foundations, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite are awarded by your trainer when every core skill reaches 5, 7, 9 or 10 in their grades, with Advanced and Elite graded on two different days. They show on your dog’s page and your profile, and stay with your dog if it changes hands.

Every score uses the same Kennelworks grading guide, so a 7 means the same thing for every trainer. Tap a score in Handlr to see what it means for that skill, or open the full guide from there.

Pedigree

Add your dog’s registered name and number, sire, dam and health tests. Details a trainer has checked show as verified.

Health wallet

Open Health wallet on your dog’s page to keep vaccinations, worming, flea and tick treatments, vet visits, weight and insurance together. Choose Add a vaccination, enter the dates and add the certificate. Handlr flags a vaccination when it’s due soon or has run out, and your trainer sees the same warning. Give a treatment a next due date and you’re reminded a week before and on the day; insurance is reminded 30 and 7 days before it renews.

To show a kennel, groomer or sitter, choose Share with a kennel or groomer. They scan a QR code to see your dog’s health record. It’s read only, and it stops working when it expires or you turn it off.

Your album

Your album, in the menu under your name, holds up to 5 GB of photos and videos of your dogs that only you can see. Add from your phone, sort by dog, and pick from it when you post or send homework back.

If your dog goes missing

Open Lost dogs from the menu and choose Report a missing dog. Say where and when your dog was last seen, add a description and, if you like, a phone number. Owners watching that area get a notification with your dog’s photo, and any sightings they send come straight to you. An alert runs for 30 days and you can renew it. Mark it found when your dog is home.

To hear about lost dogs near you, set the area you watch on the same page: a postcode and a distance from 1 to 50 km.

Suggested changes

When a trainer spots something to correct on your dog’s profile, they suggest a change. You’ll see it on the dog’s page to accept or reject. Nothing changes until you accept.

Sharing

Each trainer sees only the dogs you share with them. You can stop sharing with a business at any time, and the dog shows as No longer shared for them.

Looking for a trained dog?

Open Trained dogs for sale to browse dogs from trainers and kennels on Kennelworks, with their grades, badges and pedigree, and message the seller about one.

Bought a trained dog or a pup?

The seller sends you a transfer link. Open it, sign the contract if there is one, and the dog moves into your account with the training history they share. You can pass a dog on to its next owner the same way.
