Messages and requests
Message clients about their dogs, and accept or decline owners asking to join and requests for a consultation, a session or a stay.
Messages holds your conversations with clients and people asking about your services. The number next to it counts unread messages and requests waiting for you.
- Conversations: message a client about their dog. They reply from Handlr.
- Requests: owners asking to join, and requests for a consultation, a session or a stay. Accept and book, or decline. Declined owners are told in Handlr and can ask again later.
On Team and Business plans, Messages is a shared team inbox, so anyone with access to clients can reply.
Questionnaires
Questionnaires are questions owners answer in Handlr before a consultation or a stay. Build them in Paperwork → Questionnaires and send one from a consultation or a client’s page.
Incidents
Clients → Incidents records bites, injuries, escapes and near misses, with what you did about them. Owners of the dogs involved see the incident in Handlr. Your notes and files stay private. Close an incident when it’s resolved; you can still add notes afterwards.
