Kennel, breeding and sales
Your own dogs, litters and whelping, and selling trained dogs from listing to handover.
Kennel
Training → Kennel lists every dog your business owns, with its status, training and photos. Your own dogs train on programmes and get graded like client dogs, so you see where each one is at a glance on Dogs.
Litters
Money → Sales → Litters holds planned and whelped litters, with their parents, puppies and waiting lists. Use Whelping to log the birth and each puppy.
Sales
Money → Sales shows every dog you’re selling, from training through to handover, plus enquiries, the waiting list and all your buyers.
- Mark a dog for sale.
- Choose Reserve or sell and add the buyer. You can send them a deposit invoice.
- Have the buyer sign your sale contract, set up in Paperwork → Waivers.
- At handover, send the transfer link. The buyer takes the dog on in Handlr, with its training history.
Buyers use Handlr for free and never take a login.
Listings
Add a listing to a dog for sale, with a headline, description, price and a gallery of training photos and videos, then publish it. Listing is free. Handlr is for trained dogs, not puppies: litters can’t be listed publicly, and dogs you bred can be listed from six months old. Untick Show the price on the listing and buyers see price on application instead.
Published listings show in Handlr under dogs for sale and on your page there, with roughly where you are. A dog’s listing carries its programmes with you, its latest trainer grades, Kennelworks badges, titles and pedigree, with the details you’ve verified marked. The microchip number stays private. Buyers message you about a listing and it arrives in your inbox as an enquiry.
